Pictures of Heath and Lamb was just lovely! I'm also wondering how green/vegetation you already have! In Upstate NY we still have almost nothing :-( And OR suppose to be the "cold" climate.... Maybe because you are in a valley & have that big wall of mountains? I don't really know how to explain that? I have been noticing this phenomena for few years now: Green at your side & Brown here.

It seems that the lawns around the houses green up first. Maybe because of the variety that is planted??
