I know that it has some great writing in it and I know quite a bit of this book from reading it when I was a church going youngster. But the habit of picking up the bible and reading it on a regular basis is gone.
I think I will take another look. I find that I'm not so critical as I get older.
I like this..."the best cover crop I have found for my life, is a Bible." That's a nice way to express your belief. I like the metaphor.
Keep up the hard, but good, work and you will see the fruits of your labor this summer.
Your garden will be beautiful.farmladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10516462251842458511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450899713878614950.post-15458656037025272732012-04-02T12:06:42.864-07:002012-04-02T12:06:42.864-07:00Isn't it amazing, that out of all the things G...Isn't it amazing, that out of all the things God could have created, He created a garden for Adam and Eve to live in. To sustain them, to allow them to learn, to live life in happiness while simply having a relationship with Him. I love how we can gleen so much just by being out in His creation and knowing His word. He ties it all together so nicely for us if we have our hearts, eyes and ears open. God bless you and your garden creation! I've often thought along those same lines as I've sweated over a bed that had been overlooked a few days longer than it ought. It's just like the old axiom says "This Book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this Book".Kristinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450899713878614950.post-9881875470595357362012-03-30T10:58:19.997-07:002012-03-30T10:58:19.997-07:00It's an exciting time of year to me, to see ev...It's an exciting time of year to me, to see everything turn green and come alive again!peteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04842363901612535790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450899713878614950.post-77704188993075002352012-03-29T15:13:33.613-07:002012-03-29T15:13:33.613-07:00God bless you Richly Petey. I joined a bible study group several years ago. Ohhhh what I had been missing! :) I love your analogies.
Your garden will be delightful. It sounds like your spring is arriving early, too. Flowers we usually do not see until May are in full bloom!
Hugs...Carol Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06843033203631245758noreply@blogger.com
